This map shows writing published by Manchester’s radical presses of poetry and fiction, 1975 to 2010 as well as some of the new work it has inspired as part of the Hard Pressed project. Some of the locations and the pathways in particular represent the city’s postcolonial literature and how it is characterised by displacement.
